Paperback Ý Guernsey eBook Ì guernsey free, Guernsey PDFEPUBOh my if this had not been about Guernsey Island I would not have been able to finish it This was probably one of the most poorly written books I have read in a very long time He had a pretty good idea for a story but just mucked it up with fantastical unbelievable plot lines and just plain not good writing

Paperback Ý Guernsey eBook Ì guernsey free, Guernsey PDFEPUBInteresting StoryI found the story interesting if a bit simplistically written but my reading was spoiled by the number of typos which a good proof reader could have sorted out

Paperback Ý Guernsey eBook Ì guernsey free, Guernsey PDFEPUBPicked it up for Kindle and was enjoying it until the last uarter when the author just seemed to lose the thread It was almost a good book; Part 3 stopped that from happening the romantic interlude and villain's redemption was completely implausible The author had such a fascinating time and place to work with and didn't make the most of it too much attention to names of beaches coves and streams I'd previously read Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society and with it I felt I could see the island in my head Here I was continuously thinking wait where are we nowI understand this was two books smushed together but really The Causeway almost felt like it had been written by a different author So many things would have made it a better book info about Rachel's time in England detail about the war years on Guernsey effort given to develop the relationship between Tom Rachel Instead chapters are given to their first week together then the next twen

Paperback Ý Guernsey eBook Ì guernsey free, Guernsey PDFEPUBGuernsey Rachel's Story contains Rachel's Shoe and The Causeway which are two books that are also available separatelyThe novel starts during The Second World War and is set in the Channel Islands I thought it was very good at the beginning and was pleased as this was another Kindle book that I managed to grab when it was free However after that it did go downhill and indeed the second part The Causeway was full of far fetched storylines unbelievable coincidences and poorly written love scenes which was disa

Paperback Ý Guernsey eBook Ì guernsey free, Guernsey PDFEPUBTwo previous novels have been combined along with some linking chapters to create this bookThe first part of the book starts with Nazi persecution of Jewish people and the occupation of the Channel IslesThe final section is set in the 1970s again in the Channel Islands I enjoyed parts of the story the first part than the rest which I found rather slow in places and rather far fetched in othersNevertheless I liked the story especially the setting and descriptions of the beautiful islands their beaches and scenery

Paperback Ý Guernsey eBook Ì guernsey free, Guernsey PDFEPUBI enjoyed the beginning of this book and liked the idea of the story but found the writing a bit clumsy and kept stating things and reminding the right reader of things that had happened which was irritating The ending although almost romantic was unbelievable and not written nicely at all Wouldn't recommend

Paperback Ý Guernsey eBook Ì guernsey free, Guernsey PDFEPUBStiff dialogue dialogue should flow Writing should sound like real speech but this just was not believable and uite painful to read Who uses the word Whilst Whilst he slept on upstairs Monty and the Le Bretons took stock of the situation Storyline is fine but the writing needs help

Paperback Ý Guernsey eBook Ì guernsey free, Guernsey PDFEPUBFreebie self pub with a lot of of grammatical mistakes Story ok but ending most implausible Liked most of the characters; felt they were well done Could have been shorter some of the action in the latter part of book dragged Enough is enough Should be 2 12
